There may be some Data Manager programming archive files that cannot be opened if the file was saved to memory using an old version of MS DOS that is not "Y2K" compliant and an attempt is made to open the file with a later version of MS DOS. This is not a problem with SEA's Data Manager software program. It is a problem with the computer operating system.
To prevent this from happening, upgrade your computer system to a "Y2K" compliant version of DOS and save your mobile programming files using the compliant version of DOS. Refer to Microsoft's website at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/topics/year2k/product/product.htm regarding Y2K compliance. This should be done before January 1, 2000.
