SEASAT 3F

Inmarsat-C Fisheries System

SEASAT 3 Fisheries

  • Extremely compact and lightweight (car-radio size)
  • 2-way data, fax, and e-mail communications
  • Ideal for fisheries position and catch reporting
  • Data and position reporting to multiple destinations
  • Full compliance with the latest Inmarsat-C specifications for non-Solas with distress alerting CN114, IEC 1097-4, IEC 945, and CE requirements
  • Programmable sleep modes for power conservation (down to 30 mw total)
  • Fishery control, communications, and floating SCADA applications
The SEASAT 3 Fisheries system with integral 8-channel GPS receiver is your ultimate choice for Inmarsat-C communications. The system supports all Inmarsat communication modes including telex, X.25, e-mail, mobile-to-land fax services, and the new &QUOTConnection&QUOT reporting format with multiple DNIDs and global ocean area pre-programming.

The SEASAT 3F Fisheries system provides vessels with an inexpensive solution to proposed Vessel Monitoring System requirements for position reporting, catch reporting, and polling. Data, fax, and e-mail connection to any world-wide fax and data subscriber ensures fast and reliable transfer of position and catch reporting, data monitoring, and vital fleet communications.

The SEASAT 3 Fisheries system can be operated from a PC compatible computer, laptop, or the optional SEA TT-3606C9 Mobile Message Data Terminal. The system is offered with either the standard or heavy capacity SEASAT antennas and includes multiple ports for a parallel printer, NMEA 0183 nav/data interface, and an advanced ArcNet local network interface for connection to onboard sensors.
