SEASAT 6003 - SEASAT 3

GMDSS Inmarsat-C CN114 Compliant

  • Extremely compact and lightweight (car-radio size)
  • Full compliance with the latest Inmarsat-C specifications for Solas/GMDSS with distress alerting CN114, IEC 1097-4, IEC 945, and CE requirements
  • Data and position reporting to multiple destinations
  • 2-way data, fax, and e-mail to worldwide destinations
  • Ideal for SOLAS/GMDSS installations
The SEASAT 3 GMDSS Inmarsat-C system provides vessels with a concise solution to GMDSS carriage requirements. When installed with the SEA 6606E Message Terminal, SEA 6601E Keyboard, SEA 6608DC Printer, and SEA 6042 Remote Distress Alarm, the SEASAT 3 becomes a complete GMDSS approved Inmarsat-C system for all required Sea Areas.

In addition to GMDSS requirements, the SEASAT 3 GMDSS Inmarsat-C system offers data, fax, and e-mail connection to any world-wide fax and data subscriber, ensuring fast and reliable shipboard communications. The system supports all Inmarsat communication modes including telex, X.25, e-mail, mobile-to-land fax services, and the new &QUOTConnection&QUOT reporting format with multiple DNIDs and global ocean area pre-programming.

The SEASAT 3 GMDSS sytem is offered with either the standard or heavy capacity SEASAT antennas and includes multiple ports for a parallel printer, NMEA 0183 nav/data interface, and an advanced ArcNet local network interface for connection to onboard sensors. An optional integral 8-channel GPS receiver is also available.

SEA has a worldwide service network to support all of its GMDSS products. This ensures back-up support no matter where in the world your ship is operating.
