  • Easy to Operate
SEA's new voice and data capable dispatch radio meets the demanding requirements of today's radio system operators and users. The ESP604 is an affordable, durable, and easy-to-use mobile transceiver, and its compact size supports a variety of installations in today's small vehicle compartments.

The ESP604 uses the LTR® trunking protocol, offering maximum communications efficiency and service. The radio features separate priority, block and data ID codes, horn alert, free system ringback, transpond, and TX inhibit. In addition, the ESP604 is equipped with flash programmable memory, permitting convenient operating system upgrades via the microphone jack.

Data-Ready Options
The optional data interface boards allow integration with a variety of data devices including mobile data terminals, AVL equipment, and personal computers. One version also permits the use of high-speed modems. The ESP604 can operate on dedicated data or data and voice systems, and supports an ARQ mode on LTR® systems. Data option boards can be installed in the field.

DataManagerTM 600 EEPROM Memory Programming
The ESP604 personality data is programmed into EEPROM by shop technicians using the DataManagerTM 600, interface cable adapter, and a personal computer. Radios can be programmed for new features, sites, or IDs in the field. The DataManager facilitates in-vehicle diagnostic and tuning procedures as well. The DataManager supports programming of microphone sensitivity, power out, and master oscillator.
