The ESP520 is a synthesized, microprocessor based, dash mount mobile transceiver designed to meet the rigid technical criteria for the new 220 to 222 MHz radio service.
The compact design utilizes state of the art narrowband radio technology and digital signal processing (DSP) to meet the highest standards of operational performance. To ensure that SEA mobiles provide reliable service under rugged field conditions, the strength of a one piece die cast chassis is combined with surface mount manufacturing, solid state electronics, and superior parts and sub-assemblies.
Model ESP520 features an alphanumeric display, external speaker, twenty operational modes, scan, three user-programmable scan lists, out-of-range indicator, horn alert, ignition sense with battery saving turn off timer, and 20 Watts peak envelope RF power output.
