ESP1000

The ESP1000 is a fully synthesized repeater/base station designed to meet the requirements of radio system operators for performance and reliability.

  • TRUNKED OPERATION
  • CONVENTIONAL OPERATION
  • SYNTHESIZED
  • DISTRIBUTED LOGIC TRUNKING
  • 20 WATTS RF POWER
  • COMPACT DESIGN
  • BATTERY BACKUP CONTROL
Engineered to meet the rigid technical criteria for the new 220 to 222 MHz radio service, the ESP1000 utilizes state of the art narrowband radio and digital signal processing (DSP) technologies.

Advanced features include automatic switching from primary power to battery backup in the event of power failure, battery float charging control and a high stability (0.1ppm) base station oscillator. Front panel controls and alphanumeric display permits rapid, trouble-free setup at installation and deep diagnostic capability for service-ability using standard field test equipment.

The compact design of the ESP1000 allows multiple repeaters to be installed in similar space requirements for typical, single repeater arrangements.

To meet the highest standards of operational reliability, the ESP1000 combines surface mount manufacturing, solid state components, and the highest quality parts and subassemblies.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

Trunked and conventional operation...
The ESP1000 has the flexibility to use either trunking or conventional controllers. Use as a single channel community repeater or as part of a multi-channel trunked system.
Distributed logic trunking...
Fast, reliable radio communications. No control channel or central controller to fail and disrupt communications.
Full 220-222 MHz operation...
One repeater for all 200 channels. Program a backup repeater to any channel.
Compact, surface mount design...
Promotes operational reliability and allows the radio components to be contained in a single drawer.
Synthesized...
No expensive crystals or PROM's to change.
20 Watts RF power output...
Enough power to provide reliable communications and not exceed FCC limits.
Battery backup connection...
Save time and money with the easy connection for battery backup. The repeater's power control board provides battery float charge control and automatic switching when primary power is lost - changes back to primary when power is restored. Saves trips to the repeater site.
