SEA 220 MHz Communications

SEA Inc., a U. S. manufacturer of two-way radios for land mobile communications, is a pioneer in the development and manufacture of spectrum efficient "very" narrowband two-way radio equipment designed to operate in the 220 to 222 MHz private land mobile radio band.

The SEA 220 MHz radio products are designed to operate within 5 kHz channel spacings with a 4 kHz bandwidth. These narrowband radios are synthesized, microprocessor controlled and incorporate digital signal processing (DSP) to digitally process the audio signal to remove unwanted noise and provide a more faithful audio reproduction of the original signal. SEA's spectrum efficient radios are capable of both multi-channel trunked and single channel conventional system operation. These are user friendly, full featured radios with programmable scan lists and repeater talk-around.

SEA Inc. is proud of the leadership position it holds in developing the first fully synthesized narrowband radios including the first narrowband portable radio. SEA has continued its leadership position by being the first manufacturer to be granted FCC type acceptance for its 220 MHz mobiles, repeaters and most recently, the first 220 MHz handheld portable radio transceiver.
